# Domain whois lookup (with a token)

`GET /v1/whois/@domain` · scope `domains:read`

Same result as the [public route](/en/docs/api/get-whois-domain) `GET https://api.tino.vn/whois/<domain>`, called through the `/v1` gateway with a token that has `domains:read`: software that already holds a token keeps one base address, and lookups are logged per account.

`$TINO_TOKEN` is a token with the scope `domains:read`. Path parameters in the example are sample values.
