# Acknowledge an incident

`POST /service/@id/uptime/incidents/@incident/ack` · Tino Uptime, service owner's sign-in token

Marks the incident as known to stop repeat alerts: an open incident moves to `ack`; an incident already `ack` or closed is unchanged. Returns the incident.

`$TINO_TOKEN` is the Tino Uptime service owner's sign-in token. Path parameters in the example are sample values.
